Go over to mustangworld and post this up in the 4.6 tech section. There's 3-4 guys on there that really know there stuff (myslow..., nitrostang, code001 to name a few). I'm sure you'll get your answer within a day.

Is there any way that could be caused because those belts rubbing together? maybe stupid question but it looks like it

Well for one there are no belts in there. And 2 nothing rubs togather in the timing set. The chains slide against the guides and thats about it.

LOL. I think he was looking at the 2nd video.. From the angle it was taken the S-belt looks like it is touching.. But there is about 1inch of space between them..

one thing to remember is that the tentioners are hydrolic and it takes oil pressure to make them tight.

best way is to pull the cover and look at it for signs of damage.
