would it be cheaper to drop in a new forged engine in it? like a 5.4 liter or something? and then supercharge that later down the road?

I'm also working on piecing a kit together and hope to have it done next year sometime. I will be getting a used head unit and then rebuild it. All in all I want to keep it under $2000 after everything (full kit, injectors, fuel pump, boost gauge, tuning, etc). We'll see. If you have the money though, the MPH mongoose kit is the best deal on a complete kit that I know of, considering the great tune as well.
