2nd last week of the stang...one last fix
Alright, my connection between my manifolds and stock midpipe on the passenger side is leaking, and throwing me a P0442. I have the gasket from ford, and a tube of Permatex Ultra Copper (which I was told could handle the heat of the manifold, up to 700 F).
Now, im just swapping out the gasket and applying some ultra copper, I read somewhere the gasket needs to be torqued to EXACTLY 16 pounds? Has anyone found this out to be true?
Just hoping for it to be a quick swap, but are there any other things to look out for?
