Looking at this PI Swap
Ok from what i've read another good mod to do is a pi swap.. i have a 99gt so far i've Put LTH, o/r H pipe, magnaflow's, king cobra clutch, CAI, 75mm throttle body & plenium, also have a plenium spacer, SCT Xcalibrator 2, now i'm looking at the intake manifolds what do yall think about these http://www.americanmuscle.com/intake-manifold.html ? good price ? I'm not sure the differences in the manifolds maybe i can get some insite from you guys? What other mods would you guys do atm? I just really dont want to change the gears yet i want to wait for that to be last cause of the gas milage.. *driving back and forth to school*, i also plan on saving up for a mongoose as one of the last upgrades cause of price * want to get the cheaper stuff outa the way.

O? so theres no need, I thought there was new pi intakes for all the cars... I mean i read that the 99's had a different intake, but i didnt know it was peachy as is... hmm Any other mods i should take care of before hand? the injectors come with the mongoose so i dont have to worry bout those.

RE: Looking at this PI Swap
You already have the PI parts. The only difference is on the 99 GT's the Coolant Crossover stock was Plastic, which was prone to cracking due to heat. In 01 they changed it to aluminum, which made it more durable. There was no power difference, just a fix for the health of the engine.

just a thought, but I'm doing my setup this way (https://mustangforums.com/m_3332042/tm.htm) I would highly recommend it if your on a budget and don't mind doing things yourself.

Well unfortunantly, its not that i dont want to do it myself, i'm not totally mechanically inclined per-say.... I'm still learning so much about the car i think it would be a bit over my head... *<building computers with all my time until now>*

Iknow the feeling.I never wanted to lift the hood on a car untilI bought my Mustang last February. Now, I can't stop learning about the car and it's engine and how it works. Getting ready to upgrade the intake manifold. This will be my most intensive mod to date.
On a side note, I've heard that a taller gear doesn't really make that big ofa difference.I'll let you know for sure when I get my 3.90's installed.
