When i installed the IAC RESTRICTOR ...many times ill be waiting at astoplight while its idling and it randomly turns off..ITS SO ****ING EMBARSSING..what do u think i shud do, every since i put the IAC restrictor for some reason i feel like my gas finishes faster and im sick of it turning off. Should i take it off? Thanks

That sounds like the solution to me. All its done is cause problems for you so whats the benifit?

i think your hole in the plate might be too small-- that can cause it to die like you describe

there are plenty of people running those without issue. Just do some trial and error. All else fails, take it off and see if problem goes away

yeah the hole isn't the correct size. and you may be getting worse gas mileage. Think about it, IAC mod is blocking off air to the engine, so of course, it's running rich.

Yep, as said, make the hole bigger until it idles fine again. Otherwise you can just take it off.
