Default 2002 Gt

hi guys I was wanting some info I am looking at a 02 Gt. the car hit the guard rails on the right side of the car. it needs a front fender and some touch up work on that side of the car. it also has an exhaust leak, and the ABS light is on and the traction control does not work will this hurt it not working the car has 86000 miles on itand a clean title. he will go down to 6500 for the car is this a decent deal. the car is drivable just cosmetic damage.

No way would I buy that car. If you want to mod it, you'll have enough issues on your hands once it starts. You don't want to get the car already messed up and have to fix it before you had a chance to break it

If you can bring the price down to $4,500 I would say take it! The cosmetic damage is going to be a pain in the *** if you do it yourself, and going to cost you over a grand if you have somebody else do it. The exhaust leek shouldn't be too much of a worry if you plan on doing the exhaust on it anyways, and traction control on stangs is only halfway decent even when it is fully fuctional so no big loss there. The real worry is, this all look like signs of a mistreeted uncared for car, make sure the things that do count are in good shape and take it from there. If everything else is good and you pick it up for 4.5k then just add3.9K for a mongoose kit and you got a hell of a fun ride for under 8K or follow the suggestions here: https://mustangforums.com/m_2459394/tm.htmand have a strip warrior hitting 12's!

PS: Oh yeah... I'd say forget about fixing the cosmetic damage unless your willing to spend good money on it. If you defenitely want a clean stang, I would just keep on looking.

Yeah, if you can drop it that low you should do it. I bought my 97 for $5000 and I thought that was a good deal. If you get it to that price, heck yeah put the mongoose kit on there and keep the body all fudged up That way, no one will take you seriously until they see you wave at them five car lenghts ahead

If you can fudge the price a little more, it'd be worth giving this car a try.

Bottom line is, if you fix the cosmetic damage and decide the car is a piece, you will atleast get your money back.

it's probaly just an aftermarket cluster. But i'd say for 5,000 buy it. I would if it ran strong.
