Ever since I bought my 01GT Ive noticed that, The rear passanger sidewheel sticks out a bit more than myrear driver side wheel. They told me at the FORD dealer that it was completely fine. I noticed it more since I got my 17x10.5 cobra wheels put in. Have you guys noticed this with your cars or heard about this?

 

Does it stick out more on the bottom, or the top? Or is it just further out overall? And if it is just sticking out more all around, how much further (measured) is that wheel sticking out than the other?

 

my buddys f150 did this, it sticks out farther on the passenger side by like half an inch, like the whole axel is moved over.... 2 dealerships told him it was fine and thats how it was made for w/e reason

 

Its just further out overall. It's half an inch out more

 

i know its normal for some ford trucks...im not sure about mustangs though...

 

i've never noticed on my 01gt, but honestly half an inch isn't too bad especially if theres no mechanical problems. i say just live with it man.

 

It dosent bother me at all. its been like that since 01 whenI bought the car from Ford. Nobody has noticed it but me. It drives perfectly fine.

i agree mine is like that also its really weird my car drives fine and i also asked people and a local shop told me the axle might have been replaced but for said it was fine and that it wasnt replaced so it has to be factory. but yes it weird
