Default need suspension/lowering help

ok so christmas is comin and its time for more parts on the pony. i wanna lower the car and i want it LOW. ive been thinkin about gettin the h&r super sport springs. now my tires are 265 or 275/40/18 on the 18x9 bullit rims.. will wheel rub be an issue? also since im going this low i understand that im gonna need cc plates.. what kind do you guys recommend? brand and 3 or 4 bolt? do i abosuletly need control arms with this drop? cuz my intention is that i wanna do springs/shocks/struts/cc plates all at once. im having my buddys dads shop do the work and i just wanna try and save time/money/minimize time in the shop.. i will do sub frame connectors afterwards.. now my car is primarily for the street with the occasional trip to the drag strip here and there.. should i go with adjustable or non adjustable shocks/stuts? what do you guys think? im open to adivce/suggestions

Adjustables are great if you spend the time to adjust/tune/dial in your suspension. I would suggest adjustables but take a day out at the track with your local SCCA to dial it in. I haven't done shocks on the Stang yet.. But I am running K-sport 2" lowering progressive rate springs, and UPR camber plates...Love it... The camber wasnt adjusted in these pics..

If you go which a drop 1.5" or more you should get the steeda bumpsteer kit, and camber bolts, unless you plan on doing a k-member swap later. The only reason to get CC plates over the camber bolts is if you plan on spending a lot of time on the autoX track, and you need thefine adjustments.
If you don't do the bumpsteer kit your car will jump all over the road when you hit bumps.

BTW I am running Eibach Sportlines about a 2" drop. I love them. Check out the link to "my mods" in my sig for pictures.

I just bought some el cheapo ebay 2" lowering springs on 18s with 295's out back but I plan to go bigger, so I got the rear fenders rolled. I bought the steeda bump steer kit, MM 4 bolt CC plates, stock lower ball joints(cuz they were busted). No complaints here. The 4 bolts are SUPER easy to install, not much more difficult than the the 3 bolts. you wont need control arms. I bought everything for 400 bux off ebay, springs, ball joints, MM 4 bolt CC plates, and steeda bump steer kit.

https://mustangforums.com/m_4162980/tm.htmthere is some pics.

Oh and I would get adjsutable shocks/struts

oh, dont mind the sloppiness in the last pic in that link, just a little TOO much grease in the new ball joints, lol. Oh and those pics are with the springs 1 day old with out settling, so it will be a little lower. Also in my setup, I removed the rear lower spring isolaters because they were busted and I removed the top front spring isolaters b/c they were busted

Ill be installing my eibach sportlines this weekend... it should give me a 2" drop. Im not doing a bumpsteer kit right now, well see how well it handles without.
