You could just do it yourself. Probably like 2-3 hours I would say. Maybe a bit more since it is probably your first time.

Some people don't use the spring compressors. I'd higly recommend using them though, for safety sake. You can either rent them or buy them. A cheap set is like 20 bucks at AAP. Do us a favor and get before and after pics. Im curious how much of a difference the kit will make in ride height and looks. Im considering it for my car...

Dont use spring compressors. Its a waste of time. Plus most springs compressors wont fit our springs. Ive already tried. Here is what you need to do:

- Jack up the car on the fame
-Take a floor jack and jack up the a arm so the spring compresses
-Unbolt the sway bar, a arms, etc
-SLOWLY lower down the floor jack

Its not dangerous if you do it right. Ive done it 100 times without any problems. Your floor jack is doing the same thing as a spring compressor is . . .

I've been talking to my friend that will help me do mine, he suggests using a chain to tie them in place if you have any concern without using the compressor.
The Chilton manual suggests this method for the back springs and can be used for the fronts too, if so desired
