Lowering Springs/Gears?

Lowering Springs/Gears?
couple quick ?'s
if i get some lowering springs, (H&R Sport good/bad?) which claims 1.75" drop in the rear and 1.6" in the front,do i have to change or modify anything else? like the caster camber plates?
and about gears...i've been reading about everyone preaching 4.10's but it seems like if you drive on the highway u'd have ur car screaming at you. i have whatever came stock on my 02 GT i think 2.73's and i turn 2k RPMs at 76mph. what would be the mph : rpm ratio for the step up from stock...3.55? 3.73?
thanx buds

RE: Lowering Springs/Gears?
H&R supersports are great springs and the debate on gears will go on forever. i feel 3.73's are plenty especially on the highway. our cars come stock with 3.27 gears.

thanx man. but do you know if i would have to change anything else on my suspension if i got the lowering springs? and i think im just going to leave the gears i have in it there. cuz im getting like 24.5 mpg and i dont want to mess with that.

oh, and where in the heck did you find room for 2 L7's in a vert? i've been trying to figure that one out since i got it. cuz seems like if u put it in the trunk it wont sound good cuz the truck is like serpate from the cabin...

Your car will look so good though with h&r ss. Get them. You will get nothing but hot chicks with them! Eventually you will have to get suspension work done anyway if get more power adders.
Ebay shock/struts and caster cabmber plates. I got MM caster camber plates brand new for an extremely cheap price. My Tokico's were like $150 new also. Go with the springs

I just lowered mine with the eibach sportlines...I love them.. harsh ride though. you will need new struts and shocks and caster camber plates like stated above.
EDIT: I have 3.73's and I cant complain. I do a lot of highway driving and I would hate to see 4.10's...
That argument will go on forever though.

2 L7 8" sounds good, not as well as a coupe because of the open air, but you've just got to push more power to the subs.
