Relieving fuel system pressure.... Friend of mine did it under the hood through a schraeder type thing. Read maunals and the procedure ranges from a vacuum suction in line with a fuel line to disconnecting the inertia switch in the trunk and starting the engine...nothing about schraeder valves. 1998 SVT Mustand Cobra.

I just pull the fuel rail off and clean up afterwards. Not the recommended method but I have an 04 with no shrader valve and not gonna wait the 10 min it will take for the line to run out of fuel with the inertia switch triggered.

What are you doing that you need to relieve pressure?

Fuel filter.

I think I found it. It's a valve stem like a tire stem on the fuel rail.

I can see it now, fuel all over the engine after pulling the rail off........
