Some tubular k-members need a front coil over conversion and/or a diff oil filter spot i think.

most places will say anything to get your money, but if they do not require an oil filter relocation and a coil over kit, then its gonna be a straight drop the k member bolt up new k member job, I would recommend a cherry picker to hold the engine.

You can use a jack with a piece of 2x6x6x12 on the oil pan to support the engine ir you dont have access to a hoist. Its a very easy swap. Disconnect the calipers, unbolt the 2 lower strut bolts and pull out the spring, disconnect the steering shaft, unbolt the 2 steering rack bolts and tie the steering rack out of the way, remove the 8 Kmember bolts then just reinstall in reverse order. If you got new a arms with the kit then you will have to remove the spindels and swap them to the new arms.

Technically you're supposed to square the k member to the "frame" of the car. Personally I'd go through the trouble to do it, but Im sure many people get away without doing it. You can read up on it through this link or go to maximummotorsports.com and look at the install instructions for their k member.
