cobra engine swap help

Default cobra engine swap help

my dads friend got the rear end of hes03 corba ripped off and the engine was unharmed he did not have insurance on the car at the timeso he selling it for parts he gonna sell me the engine and trans for 3000. ithas 13,000 miles and i wanted to askwhat would ihave to change and or swapto make this work in a 2000 GT.

Just get the wiring harness and computer for the engine to work. You'll need the driveshaft and you might have to put your tailhousing on the tranny too. I'm not sure about that.

you will need the engine harness that is basicallt stuck to the engine and goes to a block on the pass side firewall. You will need the other side of that which runs through the fenderwell to the computer which you will need that as well. You will need the radiator and cooling fans to aid in your cooling process(i believe they were much better than gt one's but you can get away with yours anyways) For the transmission able to work, you will need the crossmember, the driveshaft and the yolk that mounts to the rear end.

The cobra has dual pumps I believe. If the tank isn't damaged from the crash get it and use the pumps that are in it.
