Default el glow

My UPR el glow gauge overlayshave been installed. They all glow fine except for the gas and temp gauges. Sometimes when I rev my car or do any changes like high beams on those gauges will blink between dim and bright. Anyone know what causes this?

My UPR ELGlows did the same thing after about 2 years....they have a 1 year warranty on them so just contact UPR and they will send you new ones. Marc was who i talked with and he was really nice about it.

Sounds like they are easily effected by the change in voltage. Reving the car= power surge due to engine reving the alternator faster, high beams= drain in power until equalizing.

this is what I would *did*. Instead of running the power wires to a headlight switch, *to* some interior fused 12V source, run it off a relay from the battery, there should not be adverse affects as you speak of due to rolling up windows, flashing your brights, and reving the engine

They seem to have weak connection at the point the wires mate to the light panels. If you can solder then that will cure most of the issues. Otherwise take em out and send em back.
