Default need some info on block......

ok so im ordering a new romeo block, and i just had a few questions, im eventually going to also buy a balanced rotating assembly from modularperformance.net in standard bore, and was wondering if id have to take the new block in for any machine work or if i could just start assembling. thanks in advance.

You might need to have the cylinders honed. The stock pistons run a tight piston/wall clearance. Forged aluminum pistons require a slightly looser bore. You're really just going to have to measure the bores for diameter and roundness to be sure.

You will need to get the bores rehoned and check for clearance with the forged crank.
