Default PI swap

I'm from the v6 section and plan on swapping in a 2v 4.6 from a 97 gt. Don't tell me its not worth it cuz i already have all the parts for it and labor is not an issue. I was told to do the pi swap and was wondering what does this consist of? I'm doing the swap for a couple reasons. They react better to mods than the v6, are faster, its a v8 duh, and I need something to do over winter break :]. O and I'm open to suggestions and ideas on what to do while I'm putting everything in.

Default RE: PI swap

The PI swap consists of putting the heads, cams and intake from a 99-04 gt on there. You'll pick up a good bit of power due to the enlarged intake ports. You'll see what I mean when you get the intake off the non PI heads and look at the ports. The PI heads have intake ports twice the size of the non PI. As for the V8 swap, if you have a doner car it would be perfect. I really don't know what all you need to swap to get it in there and running because I've never done one. Good luck.
