idle question
I am working on a 2002 Mustang GT that someone put new cams, bigger throttle body, and bigger mass air meter with cold air kit. When you rev it up it hangs at 3000 and takes a few seconds and drops back to 1200 or so. Do you set the throttle position sensor the same as the 5.0's? If so what reading should I shoot for at idle and what wire color do I put the positive lead on? Will this car require a re-tune in order to run properly at idle? I'm sure it would benifit from a re-tune as far as max performance is concerned. I'm just trying to get it to come down off a rev quickly and have it idle at around 900 or so.
