I have a 1998 G.T. and when i was driving it the other night my clutch got really stiff and hard to push to the floor and then it stopped for awhile. Why did this happed? i tried looking for the clutch resavour but i couldnt find it. PLEASE HELP!!

There is no clutch resavour on the sn95 mustangs, they use a cable clutch insted of a hydraulic one. To me it sounds like your cable may have gotten stuck somehow.

yeah sounds like clutch cable. to check it- Grab the clutch pedal and pull up on it until it stops, you wont need much effort for this. then push down on it and listen for a click, if it clicks, the clutch was in need of adjustment and has readjusted itself.

If it is infact the clutch cable then you probably wont want to do it yourself. your not supposed to remove the cable from the clutch, but its up to you.

um.. really... then what do u do when u install a clutch?
if nothing works disconnect the cable and move it in and out see if its still hard

be careful dude, same thing happened in mine a week later the clutch cable snapped and thats when i fell into a whole lot of problems.

It is possible that your clutch might be going bad as well.
