Subframes.. Worth it for just a daily driver?

Correct me if I am wrong. However, I think you need to be careful on how the shop welds them in. I've read the car needs to be supported by the wheels/tires/axle or whatever when they are welded. If it is supported by the frame, the body could be twisted a bit...then when they are welded in, it is stuck that way and cool misalign doors...etc

I figure this is a good chance to confirm this and also a good warning if true. Basically, be sure to supervise the install if it is true.

WOW, never thought about that. But, if the car were lifted and the cars weight wa snot evenly distributed across the frame it may flex a lil and then you caould possily weld them in uneven and actually fuxor your handling.

You are very right in what you said the car has to be on a lift where you drive the car on it .. not the ones where they go on the underbody VERY GOOD POINT
