Default PI done....idle question

Well the pi swap has finally ended. The problem we had ended up being a timing problem, stupid ford chain adjusters, but no damage was done. So to all of you guys who helped out with your input tthanx a lot. I got her tuned, just to work out the kinks not an aggressive tune since i still have stock everything else, but i saw 234 to the wheels . Once i do exhaust the numbers will jump a goos amount and once i get a few more things (tb, intake and the exhuust) im gunna go back and get a more aggressive tune.

We fixed the idle, drilled a hole in the tb plate but she still wants to stall a little at times. Isnt there a screw that adjust the idle? and where is it lol

Your idle shouldn't be adjusted with a screw. Your tuner should have fixed that when he tuned it. The IAC takes care of the idle which can be adjusted with the tune.

The screw is underneath the TPS sensor. it's a small allen screw. It is a bypass of both the IAC and T/B butterflies. You need to turn the screw outwards maybe 1 turn and then the IAC should take over from there. PI swap needs more air than Non-pi's so backing that screw out will help you. Hopefully!

Glad to hear you got it figured out. Your numbers seem kind of low, though. I made 72 rwhp with a PI swap and tune and final numbers in my sig. I'm lightly modded, too. What kind of dyno was it?

i also thought it was kinda low. It was a dyno max and it was with a chip not a tuner. He said the with exhaust and a nice intake i can c 260-280 to the wheels. He said he just kinda make things work and didnt go crazy with the tune untill i get some more mods. Im still happy with the power gain, and i know the exhaust will help me alot. still did seem low, i thought id have what you have

Use the search function. It's brought up a few times everyday.
