Hi guys. Hoping you can help me out...

When I pull the headlight **** all the way out, only my parking and tail lights turn on. When I put the high beam lever in the "stay on" forward position nothing happens but when I pull it back into the manual position they turn on. Since the beams do turn on, it's not a bulb issue. ShouldI be looking at the fuse or the switch?

If it's like a 97 GT, I would look at the main light switch. If you have power to the main switch (BLK/ORG) wire, then turn the switch on and check the (YEL/RED) wire comming out.Ifthat wire is hot thenit to the multi function switch, High/Low beamarm. The Flash to Passcircuit is on a seperate fuse.That's whythey work when you pull back on the arm. Let me know if you need more details.

 

Have you done any mods before this? When I installed my white faced gauges on my 02 the middle grey wire had come out of the connector for the headlight switch cause the same problem you are having. Check the headlight switch and fuses
