SC and underdrive pulleys
Hello,
Kenne Bell mentiones in tech articles that their supercharger is not compatible with underdrive pulleys. Why is this?
A bit annoyed ifI have to reinstall the original pulleys ( especially because i dont have them:-( )
Anybody shed some light on this?

RE: SC and underdrive pulleys
Because the supercharger pullies won't match the revolutions for the underdrive pullies. I think the blower would make less power so you would have to go with a smaller pulley. I would check on that as it may be they make more power?????? You just have to find out if the crank pulley is smaller or larger than factory size and do the same ratio for your blower pulley. If it'as a 25% reduction (slower) you would have to get a pulley that's 25% smaller than what you've got on the blower now to make the same power

+1...Another issue is that you may not be able to buy a blower pulley small enough to get the boost you want, and be capable of drving the blower with out slipping--as a pulley's diameter goes down so does the contact surface of the belt, which in turn reduces the amount of power that can be supplied by the drive.
