Default New tires today!!!

Ok I am getting tires at lunch time.

Couple quick questions..........

2002 Mustang..with stock 17x8 bullitt wheels. I am jumping up to 275/40/17's. Will they fit the rim OK?

Firestone said $615.00 out of the door with a front end alignment for the Fuzion zri. Sound OK?

Well, I know the drag radials will because somehow they measure a little differently. The regular Z rated tires may bulge a little. Someone else may have a little more info on it.

Thanks for the replys!!!

From my research peeps are saying the will wear funny and not handle as good. They recommend a 9"-11" rim.
I guess I stick with the stock tire size.... till I get wider rims.

Stock I don't know.....my tires are P245/45Z/R17 (front) and P275/40Z/R17 (rear)...I bought Falken tires just last week for my rear wheels and it cost $132 a tire, less the labor. This set up is good if you ever want to go to it.

I have it at the shop now. I am going with the stock size to be safe(245/45/17). He gave me a deal out the door for $467.00 for 4 Fuzion Zri's and a front end alignment..so I am happy.

This will leave me room to go get my window tinti tomorrow!!!!
