Default auto manual

I like driving stick and have one now, but the engine i might get is auto. Should I go for it or wait for the manual? I want to make it a quick car not full drag but 12-13 sec quarter mile.

I voted for "Munual". I believe that means Manual heh.

I do however, miss the ease of jamming gears in an auto, and just throwing in OD to do all the work for you. I sometimes like to 'seperate' myself from the world and that usually means getting in my car and listening to very very loud music and just concentrate on the road and nothing else.

I voted manual for a couple reasons: 1) Everything else out there comes standard w/auto, 2) sports cars should be manuals, 3) Something about shifting gears on your own that ties you into your car that an auto takes away from (getting a little deep here lol. However, depending on how you are going to drive...an auto may be preferred. My truck is an auto.

I think my car is fun and it's got an automatic with a rachet shifter,it's kind of like shifting a manual with out the clutch.

I had no choice but to vote for auto. Last year I lost my right leg to cancer and had to go auto. The good thing about automatics is that you can get consistant times at the track for it shifts at the same point all the time.
