ill just take mine off completly and leave it in the trunk. i dont use the radio EVER , i only listen to CDs... so if i ever need it ... ill go to my trunk and put it on for a minute...

LMAO, i never really noticed how 'stupid' that antenna looks until you guys brought it up. i went to the garage and looked at it, and wow, that thing should be on a 4x4 truck!!! imma cut mine and paint it. i had one of the shorties on my old daewoo (its gone so no need to flame me for it) and the reception wasnt very good.

yeah man go to pepboys or autozone if you dont want to cut your own... No shipping charge and you have it right away.

Got tired of looking at that gangly POS, too. Paid $5 for a replacement at Advance Auto. It's one of those "whippy" kind that's about 10" long. No reduction in signal at all, in fact a buddy of mine that rides with me a lot says he noticed an improvement in reception?!?! Go figure.

yea I think im gonna cut mine to be even with the top. Now that i look at it, it is pretty huge. I got bored so i photoshoped a car i found on google to see what it would look like with a much shorter anntennai. I also removed the side scoop to aid the "clean" simpler look.
