Default cleaning the MAF

I cleaned my air filter the other day, and now my car seems to run a bit rough. I think I may have ended up oiling my MAF sensor aswell. What is a good cleaner for that?

I think they make a specific cleaner for it. Check out your local autoparts store.

they have Mass Air Flow cleaner... its a spray..u spray it and let it air dry... DO NOT WIPE IT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! the MAF filimint is VERY small and sensitive..if u touch it.. youll prob brake it...so spray it with the special cleaner from auto zone/ advance/ whereever... then blow it dry with some air... then put it back on..

depending on what you got on the MAF, it could have screwed it up to where you cant fix it. But yea try the cleaner designated for it and see how it works.

Lesson learned?!?! Always let your filter dry completely before running your car!!! And dont use compressed air to speed up the process! [8D]
