Default MORE TRANS HELP!!!!!!

I'm just curious because my trans when going into 2nd and 3rd sometimes it feels really rough not grinding but like I am having to force it in to gear not super hard but like itis getting caught up on something but it always goes in never not gone in,clutch is depressed all the way but if I take my time and keep the clutch depressed for 2 to 3 seconds longer than normal it goes in fine. Am I just not giving the clutch enough time to engage or what this is kinda scaring me I have my jeep in the shop with over 1600 worth of sh*t being done right now so I won't have any money left for a while after that! Any ideas guys?

I have a similar problem. One second my car shifts with ease, and then all of a suddenit will become really hard to get into gear (all of them). Then later during the same drive it sometimes goes back to shifting easily. I have not been able to figure it out, but when I change my trans fluid in 5k miles, I am going to use less fluid (3quarts instead of 3.8) as recomended by ford.

It sounds like the trans needs sinkronised. Im not sure how its done. but it can be replaced by putting new bushings in the trans. I thing they are right under the sifter so it should not be hard to get to. again im not sure tho. good luck!
