Default PI cams or Headers?

Hey I have a friend with a 98gt and he was wondering which would be more worth it
PI cams? (can get them for around 60 used)
or LT headers? (can get a set for around 400)

for the price including install.

buy LT..........then call MPH for custom blower cams. Also, look into the mongoose kit. alot of people have had good luck with it.

I would do a full PI swap before I did headers. Probably not gonna see any gains with headers on a NPI engine.
If he's getting a supercharger then PI intake and cams, since swapping the heads will result in a little too much compression for an aggressive s/c setup.

The NPI's respond better than the PI's from long tubes.

You should check out this book
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Build...3286.m20.l1116

Tons of before and after dyno tests on EVERYTHING for the 4.6 motors.

EDIT:Your friend, not you, should check out the book. I just realized you weren't the one with the 98, heh. It's definately worth the cash.

PI intake, PI cams.. Then supercharge... npi are not nearly as bad as people once thought. Then throw on the LT's afterwards.
