Default idleing

this is probably a stupid question that I just can't figure out but my when my car is idleing at a stop light it seems like it can't find a good idle spot. it bounces between about 600 and 900 rpm. any answers

try replacing youre IAC, i had that issue, and replacing it helped smooth it out some. some here will tell you to clean it, which can be done, i found it eaiser to just replace it.

it only shows the 3.8 engine in the book and the 5.0 but no 4.6. so if you have the pic of the 4.6 that would be great

Actually dont replace it. Just get a can of carb cleaner and clean the **** out of it. Its probably due to a lot of carbon build up in it. Try that before you replace it.
