Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 05-08 4.6L Block and the 1999-2004 4.6L? I guess what i really want to know is can I just swap all the internals from 1999 GT 4.6L and heads right over to the 2005-2008 4.6L Block

 

The 05-08 has a 3V and the 99-04 gt is a 2V or 03-04 cobra motor is a 4V. No theparts arent interchangeable.

 

Back up step away from the keyboard. You don't know what your talking about. Yes everything will swap over. The only time you run into problems is if your trying to put 3v heads in a 2v car becuase you have to work around the vct and the charge motion plates with the computer. Blocks are the same (different piston dishes but still same everything else)
