Ok well all around verdict is tranny is a disaster due to and idiot driving with no fluids. I take it I can directly fit either a 1845 or a 3650 correct? Also with the input shaft being destroyed as it was (not bent) just no gear left and the main shaft being welded in what are the chances of damage to the crank? Also y is the 3650 (t5) better than the 1845?

Well, you will have to take the clutch assy off and see if it hurt the crank. You drove it without fluid also? Who did the work? Why dont they pay for it?

Well here's the quick rundown. I cannonballed my clutch a lil while ago, I left it at was once a friends so i could return to town and do the clutch. He decided to be a nice guy and do it for me, putting the disc in backwards, then put mileage on that, then turned the disc around while re-using the same disc, and kept driving it until finally it went kaput. It wasn't a shop, and well I will probably have a hard time collecting. Needless to say I learned a good lesson. I have the new clutch disc and the pressure plate (all spec) lookin great but now ihave to get the damned flywheel off somehow, hope my crank is ok, if it isn't im just about screwed, and find a tranny If i can get a tranny and the crank/flywheel are ok, ill be fine.

what comes stock in a 94 5.0L? is it a 1845 or a 3650? Because the loser who botched me owns one

Dude, some guy on ebay is selling two 3650 transmissions. They are at a start bid of $299 and from what I remember the buy it now was only $499. You might do a search on ebay and call him.
