Yup! I`d do it even just for looks for that price. (Shh! just don`t tell your bud that he`s likely killing the resale value of his Mach without the stock setup to go to the next owner.)

it can be done...but it's not really worth it because those shakers are made for the 4v's...different intake style...but they do sell kits for 2v's, they're pricey though

I do that in a skinny minute. I've even toyed with the idea of putting a shaker on my 67.
From everything I have read, the late model shaker setup is identical in size to the 69-70 setup.
Way too cool for school.
