Default Wanna change instrument cluster colour...Advice please

Yeah, so I want to get rid of that ugly bluish-green stock color on the instrument cluster/center console that the Mustangs and most fords come stock with. I want to replace it with white instead.

How would you go about doing that? Do you just pull the cluster out and it's LED's that you replace? Also, where can I buy these LED'S from? A place like LORDCO, or would I have to grab them from a dealer?

Anyone who's done who knows please chime in. Thanks.

i did it on my gt. you wont even need to change the bulbs. i did tho bc i put red bulbs in to match the car. what you do...

1 take the cluster out
2 take the clsuter apart
3 get a putty knife and peel the overlay off
4 get 120-200 grit sand paper and sand the green tint of the back of the overlay
5 hold up to light to see if you have it all off
6 re asemble
7 wait till night to see the beauty.

pretty much... they were cool at time i guess. EL gauges are just too damn bright and annoying. i like the amber that nissan and toyota use. much easier on the eyes at night.

the red looks pretty kick *** too though!
