Default 4R70W Transmission Mount

i gotta replace my 4R70W auto tranny mount. i had it inspected cause of a unusual vibration and it turned out to be the problem. does anyone have any experience with Stang Suspension's Prothane Transmission Mount and Crossmember? http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...idproduct=1069
what kind of affect does it have on ride quality??

ShinobiOfLegends:

No personal experience with the Prothane tranny mount but I'll tell you what I have read on other boards because a trans mount is on my list (when the time comes). Prothanemakes excellent motor mounts, imo. The trans mount will transmit a little more noise/vibration into the cabin. Personal choice, then, if can put up with a slightly shaky shifter to lessen the twisting of the transmission when under power, get a poly mount.

HTH,

Chris
