RE: GAS Mileage? ? ?
Am I doing something wrong I was consistantly getting 12 miles to the gallon, I track it on an Excel worksheet. Then I went on a little road trip and did about 100 for the whole tank and got 20 mpg. Whats going on?

I drive mine hard ALWAYS and the worst i have ever gotten was 15.... And that involved a few highspeed races and hours os sitting in dead traffic. Somethign is wrong, either your math skills suck ***** of your car does... I'm gonan drive my car this week "normally" and see how my mileage improves..

RE: GAS Mileage? ? ?
12 is well within reason if you were constantly stomping on it and generally never leaving 3rd gear amongst other psycho driving maneuvers
and emann0007 dude, don't drive too normally, dog poo is bad.

You may have an emissions problem. Like bad 02 sensors. then your fuel inectors are acting like they do at full throttle. and your very riche. Also the egr valve may be bad. Among other things. But it also doesnt help if your always at like 4500rpm. I got 12mpg with my 89, just a stock 302 full exhaust. Bad 02 sensors caused it.
