Default Exhaust question?

I have a 98 Mustang GT. My question is, what is the difference on the exhaust if you cut off the pipes and bend them down where they are facing the ground. Is there a difference on sound?

Yes, it will be louder and a little deeper sounding. Just remember to put the dumps at a 45 degree angle so it doesnt build up a lot fumes underneath the car. And it will kick up quite a bit of dust so if you have a black car it might not be a good decision.

yup, what black35th said is exactly right. It will bounce off the pavement, making it louder.
