He's just giving a rough estimate brah. But all motors are diff. One motor can put down 210 hp stock one can put down 200 hp it's not a diff but ever motor isn't the same.

hah i still don't understand why you guys think this is out of the normal. that's a pretty typical number if he's a bone stock auto. i dynoed 185rwhp and i had about 225ish hp maybe. so i lost about 50 to the wheels, and i'm auto.

Check your math.

It is a manuel. I was thinking 220-230 would be a reasonable number to put on the ground. I figure that ive lost some hp due to the fact that i have 100k miles on the car and im not the original owner, so who knows how the previous owners treated it. Im not going to spend anything on bolt ons and **** like that, Im looking at gettina 98 cobra or a ls1 camaro.

Yeah, with a manual especially, those numbers are low. It could be just the dyno. Try a different shop if there are any others in your area. If you get the same numbers on a different dyno I'd start looking at problems with the car.
