Default Coolant level warning light

For the past few days my check coolant level light comes and goes. When it first happened I checked the coolant level and it was pretty much full but to be sure I topped it. But, it still is doing it. It does it at completely random times and everytime I turn the car off and then back on it goes out. Drove it for a few hours today and it never came on. Yesterday it came on 5 or 6 times while driving around. Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a faulty sensor?

check the wiring and connector, if they are not broken/clean then replace the sensor.

What he said... ^^

Also, if you've used any sort of barsleak or gunk to plug a leaky radiator, you could have a bit of trouble too.

Water from a car wash can do it or just plain condensation
