Default maf question

alright so i'm looking into a bigger maf sensor. is going too big bad? does it matter if you have a stock tb and plenum or the 75mm ones? i've heard a lot of people use the 90mm ones off lightnings. do i need just the sensor or the sensor and the black housing? also is the plug the same for the stock mustang sensor and lightning? i know thats a lot of questions but i don't want to screw anything up.

thanks

Leave it alone until you are, like said above, over 8psi on a blower setup or a nasty N/A setup. And by nasty N/A, I don't mean bolt-ons.

Unless you find a really good deal on a combo, then I'd just go with a 75mm throttle body.

You can change the MAF but it won't do ANYTHING for you performance wise. If you did then your car would run SRSLY lean. Your MAF would "think" there is less air coming in because the the opening would be bigger and have less "mass" then you would have to get it retuned for no reason.

i would go with a combo from brenspeed... you can get the 75mm t/b and plenium from BBK for like 320 something... on brenspeed's website they actually have a 78mm t/b plenium in one and is cheaper then a t/b plenium combo
