Default Installing Lowering Springs Yourself?

I am prolly gonna get Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs (*and have a spring compressor that I borrowed from a buddy). Is this a fairly easy install and something that I can do myself some Saturday afternoon, of should I take it in and bend over for $100+? And if it’s something that I can do myself, any tips or links for instructions? (And yes, I did do a search which yielded nothing on actually installing em.)

Thanks!

Thanks Guys.

Any tips or anything I should keep in mind? And is the spring compressor required? I’ve heard that you probably don’t need it for the rear, but the front you will.

Why Sportlines? Don’t those drop you more than the recommended 1.25 – 1.5 inches?

There's a how-to on mustangworld. I didn't use/need a spring compressor. The only thing I did different from the MW how-to was I unbolted the bottom of the strut from the knuckle instead of pulling the strut down out of the tower... I have FRPP-B's...

Damn closer9 your car looks good from behind, so you just put those FRPP-Bs on and that's it? How much did they run you?

I put mine on this past saturday, it took us about two hours. Very easy, just take your time and follow the mustangworld.com how to. You dont need a spring compressor for the front, just need to unbolt the bolt with the bluish rubber spacers on it(not sure of the name of this), along with the strut and brake caliper. I have Intrax springs on my car now, feels nice.
