Quick Question:

Is there a way to tell what kind rear end gears are on your stang without taking it apart? I bought my 00' GT from a 2nd owner and whoever the first owner was put a new rear end on the car and the 2nd owner had no idea if they were 3.73's or 4.10's and so on. Anyone have a solution?

 

I have 4.10's and a t45 5 speed, at 80mph I'm at 4k rpm in 5th gear. You can use a gear calculator to figure it out as well.

 

you mean 3k at 80 in 5th right? cuz thats where im at. i think its like a little south of 4500rpm in 4th at 80 though.

Jack your car up, put it in neutral, turn the wheels and count how many turns you get out of your driveshaft. That will give you your ratio.
