Looking for an X-pipe but not sure whether or not to get a cat or not cat??? Does a non-catted give you better sound/hp??? Already have SLP LM2 cat-back.

 

from what ive heard an off road any kind of pipe along with the SLP LM is waaay too loud. Not any first hand experience tho. and i dont know if thats just with the LM2 or what. i dunno.

 

yea not sure either but at first i wanted cut outs because wen i heard them on my buddies 05 gto they sounded nice but he lost low end torque.

 

i have o/r x and lm2, sound clip in my sig. i get complements all the time.

I have BBK Long Tubes with BBK o/r H pipe. I wanted to try out different combinations with H pipe or X Pipe and different mufflers (I have magnapacks) to see what sound I like the best. Without the cats, you will be MUCH louder and obviously with less restriction from the cats, you will notice more hp as well.
