if you were to compare the pullies the water pump pulley is larger in diameter than the stock one and the crank is smaller than the stock one for the steeda underdrive pullies

When i added pullies i actually could take my RPM's up higher w/out losing power. Before the pullies i could only go to 4600 then lose power. After i started shifting at 5100 and dont seem lose power. Thats what i liked the best about mine. i could feel a differance, at least i thought.

the way it looks is that it slows the alt and water pump to free up power... and the crank pulley is smaller so i guess it spins that crank a little faster and thats why the RPMS feel like they go up cleaner and faster... maybe?

Answer to Debris33 question....

The taller the gear, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10 etc, the quicker the car will launch off the line cause it's less work for the engine.
Actually, the higher the number the 'shorter' the gear is. So you meant to say.. the shorter the gear.
