Why would you ever want to go that fast? It just seems a bit dumb to me. I mean I'm not gonna lie, I do my fair share of small street races its usually just the 1-2 shift from a light and then back down to cruisin speed.
dennis_112....I assume that you live in Ohio and around the Dayton area since your blower was installed by Dayton Performance ......Where exactly are you located? I'm about 15 mins. south of Dayton
Sorry to jack the thread, I had to ask

RE: How fast will it go
Well, I don't know what all has been done to my car (2003 GT Auto) other than the visible bolt-ons* but I've had my speedo pegged at the spot where 155mph at nearly 6000rpm and I still had some throttle left.
*(BBK pulleys, BBK CAI, BBK cat-less O/R H-pipe, Flowmaster 40 series dumped, 4.56 gears)

RE: How fast will it go
It's the 4.56 gears, are on the borderline of where you run out of revs before running out of HP--that and the fact that the speedo probably reads fast at the high end. Take a GPS next time and let us know how fast you were really going, probably150+. This is because because the 4.56 gears allow you to run higher revs in high gear, gettingyou get up into the meat of the powerband (actually a bit past it with the 4.56s). This is true of all lower (numerically higher) rear end gears. With the stock 3.27s the engine's turning 3850 or so at 140+, not in the peak of the powerband by a long shot; with 3.73s you're up to 4350 rpm at 140, also further up into the power band which lets you get another 7-10 mph or so (up to 4650 rpm @ 150 mph). With 4.10s 140 mph gets the engine up to 4750 rpm, gettingclose to peak HP but not quite there--peak is going to be around 5000+or so and be pretty level to 5400, with 4.10s thats nudging 160 mph or so. With you 4.56s you are actually on the North side of the peak but with the UDPs and exhaust work it's likely still putting out 215 to 225 HP which is enough to get you to 150+
