Default First time track- #s

I ran my car out tonight for the first time. This is my first time launching a RWD at the track, prior, ive been to the track maybe 5 times. I beat everything i ran tonight, but i still feel pretty depressed, iknow Edges are low 14 seconds, and older sn95 are suppose to be mid to high 14s. Well, heres what i ran, taking pointers, i'll be going again next week if it doesnt rain to get more practice.

Mods: Eibach Sportlines
K&N intake.

I remember, when i had my stock springs, man i had awesome weight transfer, if i launched hard i could feel the front end move uuupp, now with sportlines, my tires just sit there roasting, and i get like no weight transfer at ALL. like my friend even told me, "your car has no lean"
If i got Adjustable shocks, would that make it softer and betterforweight transferthan the current setup? (Factory 90k mile shocks/struts_

Meh I've definitely seen worst. At least your trap is right(means your shifting good). If you could get the 60' down it would be damn good.

I'm running near bald mich. pilots.

I think the biggest problem i have is that the car isnt leaning any. I think if i fix that, i'll be a little better next time. i'm considering getting fox springs now..

I also had my book bag, spare tire, jack, and a tool box in the trunk so i'llfix these things next time aswell.
all the new edge mustangslast night were running13s[:@]

With a 100mph trap you should be high 13's 14.0's. Seriously though you need to get some better tires and pull that weight. 2.4's are horrible 60's. I managed a 2.0 60'with a stock supsension, 4.10'sand 275/40/17 BGFtire on when I was on an n/a npi setup.

Well, i seriously believe if i had stock suspension i would of been better off. I consistently ran 100 MPH, my worse run of the day was against a GTO (I won..really) and i ran a 14.6 and still trapped 100MPH
