Im trying to remove my auto handle in 99 gt and cannot figure out for life how to remove it. It looks like it has a set screw in back of handle but no screwdriver seems to work. I ordered a new upr black ball replacement handle and leather boot to try and make my auto look better. Iv'e heard lots of people doing this since the autos look like *** but can't find any info. Also can't figure out how to remove the plastic base plate where it tells you what gear your in, dont need it and need room for the boot. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
