The search is down right now due to some improvements going on with the site, which sucks.

To the OP...FRPP 4.10's no less.

Sorry to veer off topic, but do you have to have your speedometer re-calibrated when changing rear gears in a manual? I have a 04 GT stick and I am going from stock 3.27 to 3.73 in a couple weeks.

Yea. someone needs to do a thread search because there has been aleast 6 threads on this in the past 3 months.

jpickett07: What kind of driving do you do? Is the car a DD? do you drive on the highway a lot? These are the questions nobody asked you.

All the answers on this thread is what i got when i posted my thread on this back in march. but nobody asked the questions above. I ended up going with 3.90 motive gears. It's a major improvement above stock and is fun stoplight to stoplight. My gas milage actually went up because about 1/2 the time i am stuck in traffic and the lower gears makes it easier for the car to move. However, when there is no traffic on the belt way I need to do 80mph to keep up withtraffic. 80mph isn't fun after you have been tacking at 3,000 rpm with SLP LMs.

I am taking my 3.90sout and going to 3.73s, so that whenI am 70pmh+ it's a little easier on the engine and gas.

I have had 4.10s before and they are great, although i do more highway driving and I would do 3.73s to keep the mpgs within limits
