I would think, logically speaking though, that if you've got it to the point where it's dry enough to squeak, re-greasing it may only be a bandaid to the tie-rod.. It may extend the life of it a little bit, but IIRC, he had said it's been squeaking for a while..
Give it a shot, if it fixes it for a little while, then you've saved more money.. Tie-rod failure can be dangerous though..
Oh, a +1 on the Steeda Bumpsteer kit, if you can afford it.. I felt it was well worth what I paid, and they look nice underneath the car too..
