Bad news, sorry to see the damage. I had a woman take a left in front of me at 50 mph with about 20 feet to react. Just had new brakes put in my '85 T-Bird Turbo and locked them up, then turned hard right at the last second to avoid a dead T-bone. She blocked the entire highway in front of me broadside.....real sweet. The bottom line....no one got hurt but the damage was $5,600+. Now I image it would have been closer to $8,000+ with what things cost today. As long as no one got hurt, that's good. Sheet metal can be replaced easily, flesh and blood can't. Count yourself lucky as it could have been much worse.

Good luck with your repairs!

Sorry about your car and especially about the aftermarket parts. It seems that no one does things right the first time anymore. Be thankful though, that you weren't hurt.

A few years ago, an Expedition performed a most excellent t-bone on my car (I was going through a green light; she was doing 50mph down the emergency lane). I did a few 360s and stopped 60 ft. down the road. Now, I have more metal in my back than a Vette has in the entire car. What kind of scares me though is, had I been driving my Stang when Mrs. "My Husband Is A COP, You Know" hit me - I would have been roadkill.

Ahh, the chances we are willing to take for the cars we love.

I'm glad you weren't hurt and I really hope your baby comes out of the shop better this time around!!
