Default Paxton novi 1000 for $1000

i know a guy who knows a guy whos friend is selling this kit for 1000, i know its quite a power increse but if im all stock do i need a major over haul before doing somthing like this?

no you dont need a major overhaul (by that do you mean forged internals?). just slap it on and keep it to a reasonable boost setting and 400rwhp limit and you should be fine with a good tune for a while.

thats my next question, the install manual says i have to send my ECU into paxton and have them chip my ECU, can i tune my ECU instend? will i need bigger injectors?

all you mainly need is a good tune and supporting fuel mods(fuel pump,injectors and such)

Better check those parts out throughly on a deal like that, or you could be getting screwed. Make sure you understand what you are getting for that price and what you need. It sounds like a great deal, but if it sounds too good to be true.....best of luck. As others said, a tune and supporting fuel mods will get you up and running. You should also do a base dyno run for compairison.
